REMARKS BY THE SPOKESPERSON OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF MONGOLIA

While reiterating the need for a political solution to the Syrian crisis, as stated in its remarks of September 4, 2013, and supporting the UN investigators’ findings on the use of chemical weapons in Syria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns in the strongest terms the use of such weapons in Syria and calls on the Syrian authorities to fully implement the U.S.-Russian Joint Framework on Destruction of Syrian Chemical Weapons agreed in Geneva.
